The Beverley to Perth Road race is a well-known Western Australian 100-mile bicycle race that started in 1897 and passed through York. It was the second oldest continuously run bicycle race in Australia behind “the Warrnambool” and one of the most gruelling.

York is holding their Heritage Weekend festival starting Friday night with their famous York Ghost Walk and continues until Sunday evening with events happening every few hours.
