The fabulous Giro d'Perth is in it's second year. While this is not a club ride it is one that a lot of club members will enjoy - a low pace journey around some hidden corners of Perth CBD and environs. You'll see plenty of classic bikes on your way around. The WAHCC has been asked to judge and present the award for best vintage bike in the event; Cameron Smith will officiate.
There are three ride lengths; 31km, 17km and 11km.
Giro d'Perth starts at Hollywood Primary School, Hollywood, enter off Monash Avenue. Registration is from 8am to 10am. If you're doing the long one you probably want to register close to 8 o'clock as the event is officially over at 1pm. The ride finishes at Perth Soccer Club (Dorrien Gardens) in West Perth, (that bit of West Perth that really feels like it should be called North Perth).
